The wedding date is set to 9/30/17. So glad they booked fairly quickly because I got 3 other inquiries for that date that same week after we met! January and February is essentially “booking season” as November and December is “engagement season” as about 40% of couples get engaged over the holidays. And every year there are dates that if I cloned myself I could have photographed 5 more weddings.
For Jessica and Aaron’s engagement photo session we incorporated the best of what Colorado has to offer. A city and mountain engagement to honor their love for both, spectacular mountain views as well as everything the city of Golden Colorado has to offer. With gorgeous locations like Lookout Mountain, and an even more beautiful couple, we captured an intimate on top of the world look for only these two. Jessica had a cute casual outfit layered with a scarf and boots (which I loved) as well as a formal look with her gorgeous red dress and his suit vest. Her dress looked stunning against both the mountain and city backdrops! Both outfits added a little fun and variety to her session.
Jessica and Aaron’s City and Mountain engagement
We started their engagement session started at Lookout Mountain. We were lucky to have a little snow on the ground along with the spectacular views of the Front Range. Then the two got all dressed up and we headed down the mountain to downtown Golden with the Coors Brewery in the background for just a few more photos at sunset. They then headed to the wine bar for a mini date to continue celebrating their engagement. I cannot wait to see their wedding at Baldoria on the Water which will be different but just as beautiful for their wedding photos with italian stonework, fall colors and ivy ceiling.
