I’ve been photographing the Favier family for years. First, I photographed Kelly and Brian’s engagement photos and then their wedding. Soon after I photographed little June’s newborn photos. I’m kinda the Favier Family Photographer and I LOVE that! It’s wonderful having the honor of photographing their entire family together, year after year! This is one of the things I love most about my job.
This year the Favier family let me help choose the best time for photos and opted for a Colorado cherry blossom family session!
Cherry blossoms in the spring are the equivalent to the colored leaves in the fall, both make for absolutely gorgeous family photos, but only last for a short period of time. Cherry blossoms actually have an even shorter season than the autumn leaves. With our crazy Colorado weather, sometimes they bloom and two days later they’re gone because of a random March snow storm. Most often, they bloom sometime in mid to late March and last a few weeks, but that’s about it. And of course they are hard to find. Colorado isn’t like Washington DC where they are everywhere so most of these gems are hidden in some commercial business parks but I have a few secret places for them. Contact me for your session next year because of course they are all gone now 🙂
