I have gotten the chance to work with Jen and Geoff many times before, and I was so excited to meet their first child! I always knew that Jen and Geoff would be great parents. After all, they’ve had lots of experience! They have lots of furry babies to take care of already, and Jen takes care of sick ones too. She is a veterinarian and they have a house full of four dogs, plus a few horses. It’s clear that they are just loving, caring people. I am so happy they now have a newborn baby to raise and love.
Sweet Newborn Photos – Julia
I love that mom and dad both wanted photos alone with their baby girl. One on one baby bonding is so important. Having these photos to look back on will show Julia just how much her mom and dad loved her from the very beginning. We did a set of portraits with Julia and Jen and a set with Julia and Geoff. The face she is making in the photo with her dad just cracks me up! I can’t imagine what she must have been thinking.
We also did a set of posed newborn photos of little Julia. We went with some beautiful, simple set ups. Baby Julia loved being wrapped up, so we put her in a couple simple wraps and did some naked baby poses as well. We used a light pink background and some cute little headbands for this beautiful baby girl. At the end, we did a cute bucket shot with her sweet stuffed rabbit. She was a good sleeper for most of the session, but I love the wide-eyed photo as well!
