I absolutely adore this amazing family. I’ve been photographing Lillian’s big brother Zeb for years now, starting with his newborn photos. I got to watch him grow up and take his pictures every year since then, at age 1, 2, and 3. He’s even close in age to one of my boys and they love playing together when he comes over for sessions. I got to meet the whole extended family when I took their Christmas photos and I photographed the gender reveal for this sweet baby girl in the spring. It was Easter themed and so much fun!
Sweet Baby Girl – Little Sister Lillian
Lillian is Angie’s last baby, so we wanted to have all of her firsts and lasts captured. I know what it’s like to know that this will be your last baby. It is so important to cherish every moment when you know you won’t be going through it again. I had this with my own babies. You may not know this about me, but when we were planning our family, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I knew we were limited in the number of kids we could have and when. I was able to have two beautiful boys and for me, that was just perfect.
With Austin, my oldest, I wanted to enjoy and learn everything and experience motherhood for the first time. With my second child, I knew he was my last so it was awesome to savor every moment. I knew it would be the last time I ever experienced pregnancy, those first movements, all the coos, and snuggles. I had to make sure to cherish it all. It gets me teary-eyed just thinking about it! Lol! Angie was going through the same thing so I knew how important it was to capture some amazing newborn photos for her. I love that we got Zeb involved. He is just the sweetest big brother out there!
