What a joy it is being a photographer. Being there for the most special of moments, capturing memories that will last forever but, most of all, it is the honor to be able to follow their journeys as they enter new stages of their lives.
You may remember, last year I blogged about a rustic mountain wedding I photographed at Timber Ridge, Keystone Resort for a gorgeous couple, Joe and Laura. Their mountain, travel wedding theme was beautifully executed with a globe for the guest book, luggage tags for place cards and a unique mountain themed cake. Soon after the wedding, Joe and Laura have set on the biggest adventure of their life, parenthood! I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their sweet new baby Everly!
Joe and Laura’s ceremony and reception was held on top of a mountain, and their baby announcement was no different. They climbed Mt. Beirstadt (14,060 ft) to “shout from the mountain top” that they were expecting Baby Anderson in April 2016. Then when it was time for the gender reveal, they asked the twin boys, who were the ring bearers at their wedding, to reveal the baby’s gender. Asher, the twin holding the “girl” sign was right but hardly anyone could tell them apart! I adore all the details and effort they have put into involving everyone for Baby Everly’s welcoming. She is blessed to be so loved and cherished by so many. A huge congrats to Joe and Laura!
