This urban styled wedding was exactly what I needed. Since winter is slow season for weddings, I try to do as many styled sessions as I can to keep my skills sharp and stay inspired. I absolutely loved this one! What’s not to love about an urban wedding, with industrial and pastel details and tons of florals? There were so many amazing details to photograph and I had a great time working with all the incredible vendors. Here’s a bit about all the pieces of this Blanc Denver wedding, along with some of my favorite photos from the shoot.
Blanc Denver Wedding Styled Shoot
Tandem Events and I wanted to create a shoot inspired by matching two distinctly different elements into one beautiful look. Industrial meets spring with lavender, greenery, white-washed brick and a honeycomb pattern (with real honeycomb!). Blanc is an amazing urban venue right in Denver. It has all the amazing features of an industrial warehouse turned event venue but with a cozy, natural outdoor space too.
A lot of the inspiration for this look came from the cement candle holders, which became the centerpieces for the head table. They looked great with Blanc’s industrial feel. The lavender and honey-colored florals, by Kimball Floral, and the honeycomb from Copoco’s Honey balanced the stone, cement, and metal details. Of course, our gorgeous models, Gina and Christian, were dressed to the nines! Probably the most unique part of this shoot was the bride’s parasol, which was covered with bright flowers and greenery. It made the couple’s photos so timeless, with a bit of a vintage feel.
It’s not often that a styled wedding shoot includes a full meal! The chefs at Occasions Catering created a full menu for this styled wedding and it was so good! Here’s a peek at the delicious menu. Summer Caprese Shooter & Bites, Pan-seared Alaskan Halibut, and Grilled Flatiron Steak. Doesn’t that sound amazing? We even had a DJ, a photo booth, and signature drinks. It was so much fun!
