A snowy winter wedding is what dreams are made of, right? They look so pretty and magical. The white dress on the white snow is so perfect and the cold gives everyone a great reason to wear a fuzzy stole! The reality is a bit different since everyone is actually freezing their butts off, but all the cold is totally worth it! All you need to do is snuggle up next to your honey and let all the love in the air warm you right up!
Jillian and John were lucky enough to get the most magical snowy winter day (well, really it was late fall, but it’s Colorado!) for their Rocky Mountain wedding. It started snowing as they got ready and they got gorgeous light, fluffy snow through their outdoor ceremony and couple’s photos! Everyone at their wedding had such awesome attitudes about the snow and cold. Jillian even spent the whole day in high heels! Not an easy feat! She did have a bit of assistance walking over the bridge to see John for their first look. But, by then, her feet were probably numb anyway!
Snowy Winter Wedding at Black Canyon Inn – Jillian + John
John and Jillian got married on November 17th which marks their 10th anniversary! The couple met in high school. When they started dating, John was a senior and Jillian was a sophomore. Ten years later, to the day, they got married in Estes Park, Colorado. Oh, and John proposed in Harry Potter World at Universal Studios, right after the Christmas light show! Isn’t that so romantic? I love a good proposal story! They love spending time together in the mountains, so for their honeymoon, they will be traveling to different mountain towns and exploring the area.
