Crooked Willow Farm Weddings
Crooked Willow Farm weddings in June are my favorite and you know it’s true. That’s because it’s exactly where and when I got married myself. Although, there are now some new improvements since my day. All the classic beautify is still there. There are even a few things you rarely find at any other wedding venue. Here are some of my favorite things about Crooked Willow Farms weddings.
Red Barn and Rustic Loft
Crooked Willow Farms is not just a wedding venue but a real equestrian rehab and care facility. So there are plenty of white fences, red barns and horses in the fields. Of course, the wedding barn is no longer used for animals. Instead, stalls are converted to places for photobooths and guest areas and bride and groom quarters instead of quarter horses. Another beauty is Lola’s loft a rustic former hayloft now turned romantic interlude area or backup ceremony location. In fact, Hannah and Ben had to make a last minute switch for their day. It still looked amazing.
Mountain and Water features
Some of my favorite areas on the Crooked Willow Farm property are their ponds. One usually has a few swans enjoying the water with a fountain and twinkle lights adorning the trees. The other is perfect at the end of the day for some dramatic portraits and inspiring views of the mountains. Just be warned that it can get a bit muddy around the ponds as well there is water flowing to fill it.
Gardens, Sunsets and Camels, oh my!
Camels? Yes, there are a pair of camels on the property (as well as wallabies) if you keep a keen eye on the fields. Although we aren’t allowed close to them anymore, in the past, we had many of them in couples’ photos. In June, though, the garden is in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous. You could spend all day there. And more often than not, Crooked Willow Farm Weddings see amazing sunsets. So if you are looking for the perfect farm, barn, rustic venue, call them to book your date today.
