When the Dittmers did a search for “maternity photographers near me” my name popped up and they knew they wanted to work with me! I am so lucky to get to work with such amazing people! These two were so excited to plan an epic maternity session and were up for trying all the fun creative things I wanted to do. I am so in love with the pink dress on her! It’s one of my gowns from my client closet. We had such a great time taking these photos with the red rocks and pink blossoms as our backdrop.
One of the reasons people trust me as their photographer is that I do so much more than take photos. I love planning sessions from beginning to end and I know all the best spots for maternity photos. I have spent years researching and experimenting at all the prettiest spots along the Front Range. First, I want to get an idea of what you like, and what kind of vibe you’re going for with your photos.

If mountain views are what you’re going for, there are tons of options. Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain, and the Flatirons in Boulder and some of the most popular places to go. I also know all the best spots within the bigger parks like Garden of the Gods and Rocky Mountain National Park. Some of these natural areas have time restrictions or permits but I know my way around all of it and will take care of the boring paperwork for you. That way, you can focus on pampering yourself and picking out the perfect outfits for your session! Maybe you just love being by the water! We may be landlocked but Colorado has lots of beautiful lakes and reservoirs to take maternity photos. I love Crystal Reservoir, Evergreen Lake, and Horsetooth Reservoir.
If you’re more interested in something in the city or with more architectural interest, I’ve got you there too! I love shooting in RiNo, filled with colorful murals and all around downtown Denver. The Denver Botanic Gardens is also a gorgeous location for maternity photos. Then, there are certain monuments like the Pavilion at Cheseman Park and bridges throughout Denver. Colorado is also a state with all four seasons, each more beautiful than the next. Summer offers wildflowers, fall has gorgeous fall colors, winter brings serene snow, and spring has beautiful cherry blossoms. These events can be hard to time but with years of experience, I know how to plan for all of them.
