Best Colorado Springs Maternity photographer
I know it sounds cliché but it is absolute magic how women can create a whole other human being in just a few months. Which is why this time and process should be celebrated and revered. I know from carrying my own two and now not being able to go through pregnancy again (thanks cervical cancer and hysterectomy), that one day you will miss this chapter of your life. If you have a session booked with me, the Best Colorado Springs Maternity photographer ever, here are a few tips on how to prepare for your session.
Tips to Prepare for your Colorado Springs Maternity Session
Most of my clients opt to choose a dress from my client closet and there are a few things to be aware of with these dresses and items you need to bring. Most of the dresses are sheer or very fitted and have large slits to see your baby bellies. This means that a nude strapless as well as seamless undies are preferred. Do bring these items with you or wear them to the shoot. Don’t worry about stretch marks. If you don’t want those visible, we can choose a different dress or remove them in editing later if you like.
Depending on the location and season, shoes are also an important accessory. You’ll want to bring some that are either nude, match your dress or be prepared to go barefoot. On that note, you’ll probably want to shave. The way your partner is dressed matters as well. If possible, go a bit dressier or at the very least khakis and logo-less shirts.
In addition, it’s been awhile since you got dressed up and had professional hair and makeup and this may be the last time before labor. I recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done for your session. I have several salons that I work with regularly and recommend for your Colorado Springs maternity session.

Ultrasounds, clothing and blankets are great items to bring. Now that you know, book the Best Colorado Springs maternity photographer – me! – today!
