It’s been a few weeks since I photographed this gorgeous wedding at TimberRidge at Keystone but I am still smiling from the love I felt while capturing all the memories. Also called “The Outpost,” Timber Ridge is located at the Keystone resort. The food, music and great decor made for an amazing celebration where everyone enjoyed themselves. Oh and ya that incredible view doesn’t disappoint either 🙂
Love at First Sight
Stephanie and Kiel met on their high school’s football field. Kiel was training for track and Stephanie, who was still in middle school, was at Lacrosse practice on the same field. It is so rare that two people stay together through their school years and this shows the strong commitment these two share. After years of dating, Kiel proposed at the most happiest place on earth – Disney World! To remember that special moment on their wedding day, these two had “hidden Mickey’s” on them on their wedding day. Kiel’s in the inside of his jacket and Stephanie’s on her bouquet.
Exchange of Vows
Stephanie and Kiel chose not to do a first look. And instead they wrote letters to each other to read before they walked down the aisle. And I think it paid off as when they saw each other as they met in the ceremony aisle it was just a flood of happy tears.
The best thing about Timber Ridge is it’s a stress free venue that includes so many aspects of your wedding. Located at the top of Longs Peak, everyone gets to enjoy gondola rides to the top and exquisite mountain views as the couples exchange their vows. Another great aspect is that they take care of all the catering and provide a beautiful cake, delicious meal and the decor!
Party Time
After the ceremony, we headed to the mountain lodge for their reception. This is a magnificent space with high, cathedral ceilings, fire places and plenty of dancing room. I loved watching all the couple’s family and friends dancing and laughing all around them, everybody was having a blast! We ended the night with the most epic skies and the two were able to spend the last moments of their wedding day in each other’s arms.
