This is one of my favorite engagement sessions from last fall! I had this couple on my calendar for their October 24th wedding but they had to reschedule for one year later. Fortunately, this rescheduling meant that they had more time to take engagement portraits! We did their Cheyenne Canon engagement session the same month as their original wedding date. It was a great way to honor their original date and celebrate their upcoming wedding.
They will be getting married at Garden of the Gods Resort and Spa in October. I am so excited to photograph them again at their fall wedding! These two were so cuddly at their session. I love when I get couples like that, who just want to be together and love on each other. It makes my job that much easier! They have great style too. I love the colors they chose for their outfits. It went so well with their surroundings.
Cheyenne Canon Engagement Session
We did this engagement session at North Cheyenne Canon Park in Colorado Springs. This place is incredible! There are really cool rock formations, streams, even a waterfall (that was a bit too crowded when we went). There was also beautiful fall foliage during our session. We spent the first half down in the canyon, surrounded by the fall colors and red rocks. I loved the stone bridge over the stream and the stone lined path. It’s like this place was made for romantic engagement photos! As the sun started to set, we hiked up to an overlook. From there, you could see the sunset and look out over all of Colorado Springs. After the sun dipped below the horizon, I took some silhouette portraits against the cloudy blue sky. I also brought out my lights to make some artistic nighttime photos.
