C+N’s Mountain Engagement Session
Clint and Nicole are such a fun and easy going couple and we had a good time together celebrating their engagement with a gorgeous session at Crystal Reservoir on the way up to Pikes Peak! They are getting married next year at Edgewood Inn in Woodland Park and it was nice to get to know them a little before I photograph their big day! Crystal Reservoir is a perfect location for a mountain engagement session, while still being close to Colorado Springs. Clint is in law enforcement hence their attire in the black and blue shirts. The signs were all made by Nicole. She did a great job and I loved incorporating them into their session! We did have a bit of an oops …..it started raining and we forgot one of the signs was chalk and melted a bit! A little Photoshop magic later and we were set! 🙂 Adding a sign with a wedding date in your photos is a fun way to later announce your wedding or for save the dates and their first sign was hilarious! All true 🙂

Crystal Reservoir provided gorgeous views despite the foggy weather. We even enjoyed the little rain shower and continued with our session. I am so happy these two just went with the flow and embraced the dark clouds and rain. This attitude will definitely help them on their marriage journey – as we all know it isn’t always sunshine ;)! And when times do get rough, they will always have these images to look back on and remember the joy and happiness they felt simply by being together.
