Nicole and Brian are having a baby! I am so excited for this beautiful couple to welcome their baby girl into the world. Shes coming any day now! We did their session at Mt. Herman in Monument. This location is so beautiful, especially in the fall. Not only did we get the autumn leaves in the trees, we also got gorgeous gold in the grasses and leaves on the ground. And we caught them at the perfect time for peak color! Mt. Herman was the perfect spot for fall maternity photos!
I have a whole bunch of beautiful maternity dresses that my clients can wear, in studio or on location. They are all either really stretchy or really flowy so they will fit pretty much anyone. Nicole chose the burgundy one, to coordinate with the fall colors. I love this dress because it is tight fitting to show off your beautiful bump, and it has an epic long train to play with. And we definitely played with it at this session! Brian made for a wonderful dress thrower. We also did a set of fall maternity photos in more casual attire. It’s good to have a bit of both in a photo session.

We did lots of couples portraits to show the whole little family together. It’s important to capture the emotions and excitement of this new life a couple is starting. Plus, I get to make photos of the love they have for each other and the little one they’re about to add to their family. It’s incredible to see the love couples have for their baby before they even meet her. We also made sure to get some stunning portraits of just Nicole. I mean, just look at her in that dress! It’s so great to celebrate the amazing changes a woman’s body goes through during pregnancy as well. Growing a baby is no small feat.
