Trista and Jeff’s engagement session was absolutely perfect. They got everything you could ask for all in one. We were able to plan a rural and urban engagement session. Plus, their dog Mollie was a star in a lot of the photos. First, we went to Meyer’s Ranch Park, which is full of aspen trees and has great views of the Front Range. We were there at the perfect time to catch the gorgeous yellow leaves in their full splendor. It can be difficult to predict when the leaves will be at their peak. It changes each year and rain or early snowfall can take the leaves down before they’re perfectly golden. Trista and Jeff lucked out though and we got plenty of golden aspens in their engagement photos.
After the park, we went to Breckenridge Brewery in downtown Littleton, where we were able to get a more urban vibe. As we got to the brewery, the sun was setting and they changed their outfits into fancier attire, so we could get more of a date night feel to the photos. I love being able to combine nature, mountains, and city in one session like this. So many of my clients love the urban vibe but also want mountain views and beautiful fall leaves. You can have the best of both worlds! Meyer’s Ranch Park is one of the perfect locations for this since it is so close to downtown Littleton. I have a few other location options that combine urban and rural as well. Just ask!
Breckenridge Brewery was a special location for Trista and Jeff. It was where Jeff took Trista on their first date! I like to incorporate details about first dates or where he proposed or other special moments for a couple into their session. An engagement session should be personal and it should reflect the couple. I love that I was able to do that with these two. Trista and Jeff are getting married at the end of August at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton, CO. Cortnie and Johnathan’s beautiful, purple filled wedding was there earlier this year, so I already know the venue. I can’t wait to see these two again, on their wedding day! I just know it will be amazing!
