Baby Avery is 6 months old! I’ve been photographing this family for a while now. Avery’s parents first contacted me to be their engagement photographer, then I got to photograph their wedding day. When Amanda was pregnant, I got the call and did their maternity session and when Avery made it to the world, I was the one who took his newborn photos! I think it’s safe to say I’m their Colorado family photographer, their all of life’s big events photographer! 🙂 That is what I love about my job. I get to work with the same clients year after year and watch their families grow!
Colorado Family Photographer – Baby Avery is Six Months Old
Amanda wasn’t sure she wanted six month photos at first. But of course, once he got there, she knew she had to have them. He had so much personality and they were just so in love, they couldn’t not capture this brief part of his life. Kids grow up so fast, especially in the first few years. Photography is the only way I can think of to stop your kids from growing up. It’s the only way to freeze time and capture them, right now to keep forever.
I love photographing six month olds because everything is so exciting and new for them. They are learning to sit up on their own, rolling around and laughing and smiling a lot. They are just starting to develop their personalities and it is so magical to be one of the first people to capture that. Little Avery was a pretty good baby in the studio too. He even posed himself better than I could have! I love when babies do my job for me. Now, I just need to train them to take photos! Lol! 😛 We did this session at my temporary studio in Centennial.
