Heirloom portraits: Baby Sophie

I love taking heirloom images for my clients! My most favorite part is seeing my engaged and recently wed couples (whose wedding I photographed) start a family. I am honored that they allow me to capture their legacy!

It’s a girl!

Mollie and Eric had a beautiful wedding a few years ago at Cheyenne Mountain Resort.  It was truly stunning with best weather, an amazing sunset and a big swing band. These two have enjoyed 2 years of blissful marriage and are ready to make that guest room a nursery with a little girl.  Now, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing their newborn session of their first child, little Sophie, who is just as sweet and lovely as can be!  She looked adorable in everything I put her in and even gave me the sweetest smile!  She was a little larger baby at 9lbs but was still small for a few of the outfits Mollie got for her! And when mommy held her she stretched her hand up to her face, it was so cute!  So much joy for me photographing this family and watching Sophie grow up.

I always tell my new momma clients to breath and enjoy these fleeting moments! I am so happy to be able to provide these images to my families so they can remember how tiny and precious their baby was. How easily the folded into the tinies of photography props and fit into their momma’s hands.
