Piney River Ranch Wedding – An Adventure for a lifetime
These two are the epitome of Colorado and adventurous couples. Actually, every weekend Jamie & Heather are scaling the 14teeners of the Rockies, camping in the back country and skiing double diamonds. In fact, for their engagement session they chose Rocky Mountain National Park. At the height of wildflower season, nestled in tall grassy fields, winding river and gorgeous mountains. Not surprisingly, they camped there after their photos.
Nevertheless, you would think there could be no better location than Rocky Mountain for their wedding but a Piney River Ranch wedding is arguably one of the most gorgeous views in Colorado or really, the world. Grand mountains encase a river and lake view and for Heather and Jamie a MOOSE graced their wedding day! He’s kind of a celebrity in these parts (Monty) but Heather was probably mostly excited about seeing him that day.
Adventure Awaits
Incredibly, Jamie and Heather pledged their vows with the stunning mountain backdrop as family and friends witnessed their unity. As part of their ceremony they planted a tree to symbolize the start of a new life together.
I really love the cake that Jamie and Heather chose. Actually, I really love that it made it to Piney River Ranch in one piece. As you may know, The road to Piney is infamously treacherous. It’s 11 miles of extreme bumps, shaking waterboard and even sometimes a washed out road. However, it was as sturdy as it was delicious though.
Congratulations to Jamie and Heather! I’m sure you’ll be back from your Piney River Ranch wedding to visit again and adventure for a lifetime.
