I’m a person that believes in fate. Good and bad things. I believe things do happen for a reason and if you are lucky enough, the reason will be unveiled to you. In Anji + Jamie’s case, you never know that when picking your flight randomly by time or date or location online, that you may be picking your entire future! Well, Jamie and Anji met on a flight from Columbus OH, to Denver CO as they were both flying home from spending Christmas with their families! They spent their entire flight talking away and then exchanged numbers! The rest is history! That flight changed their life and they had their flight number (United 348) engraved inside their wedding rings.
A Mountain Ceremony
Jamie and Anji have great taste and chose a gorgeous venue for their wedding at Lower Lake Ranch in Pine Co. This venue provided a gorgeous lake and mountain views for their ceremony and portraits. Anji looked stunning with a fitted lacy dress made by Sottero and Midgley that she purchased from one of my favorite bridal boutiques The Bridal Collection. From the flowers to the jewelry all the details were soft, delicate and exquisite.
After their ceremony, we went out to take portraits of the newly married couple. We had to take it slow because somebody had been so excited about the day they forgot to eat that morning and so we ran and got appetizers – stat! But we had fun taking pictures of Anji with her traditional veil as well as utilizing the beautiful dock overlooking the mountain view and the two were able to have a few moments of intimate time together before they rushed back in to party with their guests.
A Mountain Reception
After their “I Dos” we headed to the Creekside Lodge for their reception. Lower Lake Ranch catering did not disappoint with the food that not only tasted good but was also presented beautifully. After dinner they cut their gorgeous cake and their guest got to enjoy not only the wedding cake but also a groom’s cake and ice cream! They finished the night with music, dancing and the most gorgeous sunset.
