Cielo Colorado Wedding – There once was an ugly sweater
I love photographing this family and I am thrilled now I’ll be seeing not only Mary but Chris too (hopefully when babies come)! I photographed Mary’s brother’s wedding years ago. Mary’s ring bearer I photographed as a newborn and actually photographed Mary’s senior portraits as well. When I photograph that ring bearer’s wedding I am officially old! Today though is her Cielo Colorado wedding day and I can’t be more excited!
You wouldn’t expect to meet the love of your life at an ugly sweater party but that’s what happened to Chris and Mary. From the moment she walked into his life he knew he found the one. Over the next two years they grew closer over the love of their families, the outdoors and their faith.
When Chris was ready to pop the question he came up with the perfect plan. Hiking to the top Ptarmigan Lake Mountain and proposing at the summit (that’s 12,000 feet for all you non-Coloradoans). While Mary walked around looking for the perfect spot to picnic, Chris waited for the perfect moment. Of course she said yes and here we are, their wedding day.
Mary wore a stunning strapless lace dress with Betsy Johnson shoes. Her hair in the perfect slightly unkept bun and floral headband. Her girls went with their own individual style dress in the same light pink. The boy were in very nontraditional yet very GQ blue suits with a little fun in matching socks and pink ties. The reception site very perfectly grande with small tree center pieces adorned in crystal.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family they prayed, the laughed, they said I Do. Lets not forget the dancing, I won’t. What a fun bunch.
Thank you vendors
