The smell of a sweet baby. And I am not talking about my new little man! If you remember, Chelsie whose wedding I photographed her in early Fall. We both had the same due date of December 23rd! I ended up having to schedule my c-section on the 19th instead. Well she went into labor on the 19th as well!! And not only do our babies share a birthday, they were also born in the same hospital! How awesome is that!?
Three weeks later and the two came to visit me in my studio for her newborn session. I am still on maternity leave and recovering with my sweet boys at home, but I was so excited to see Chelsie again and meet her baby. She is a little doll and I had fun dressing her up in deep reds, lace and purples. I am sure Dad is going to love these portraits of his two beautiful ladies.

I can’t get enough of her squishy back rolls and all that hair! We had so much fun incorporating different textures and fabrics to her session, but also keeping it classic and simple to not distract from those gorgeous lips and smooth baby skin. Congratulations Chelsie and James on your sweet little girl!
