Intimate Wedding at Fox Run Park

Nicole and Kevin held their gorgeous wedding in Colorado Springs and I am so excited to share it with you. These two held an intimate wedding ceremony under the gazebo, and surrounded by water, in Fox Run Park. This is Nicole’s second marriage so they weren’t looking to have a big, fancy party. They wanted something small and meaningful, with just a few close loved ones around to celebrate their love. This couple envisioned a simple, classy, and uncomplicated wedding and that’s exactly what they got.

Nicole and Kevin met on Match.com and fell in love. Kevin proposed at a family dinner with Nicole’s parents and she said yes! They planned a late May, outdoor wedding at this beautiful location. Nicole’s daughter, Paige was an integral part of the day as well. She was included in the ceremony as well as being Nicole’s maid of honor. After the couple exchanged rings, Kevin gave a ring to Paige as a way of showing the couple’s commitment to her as well. I love Paige’s face during the first kiss! She’s clearly very happy for her mama and so excited have Kevin in her life.

After the ceremony, we did family formals and couples portraits. There are some beautiful wooded areas near the wedding gazebo in Fox Run Park, so we went there for the photos. The couple wanted a photo with their wonderful officiant, Reverend Calvin Wulf and lots of photos with their daughter as well. Then, we did some lovely portraits of just the two of them in their post wedding bliss. I loved incorporating the water into some of the photos as well. It makes for some really beautiful reflections.
