Lesbian Rock n Roll Wedding
As a photographer, I love being creative and just doing things that I’d like to make a reality (not just see in my mind). And sometimes you walk into a thrift store and see inspiration! Like old vinyl records and sleeves being the perfect charger for a tablescape. Or a leather jacket accessorizing an edgy bride, or in this case 2 brides! Emily is actually a rock and roll goddess being an amazing drummer and Rachael is her loving partner (and now wife!). They were gracious enough to model for me and a few other photographers for this crazy styled shoot that we put together in red, black and white wedding colors. We assembled a snare drum cake (or cupcake) table, a very very red piano and a vinyl record wall in our little Colorado forest! The alternating black and white chairs and colors on the table remind me of the black and white piano keys and of the electric guitars the girls are playing.
I hope that this wedding gives you some inspiration for your own wedding day or at least making it more about you and your bride, groom, partner. I also would love to photograph more same sex, gay, lesbian, LGBTQ+ couples! I love all couples in love and would love to tell your story.
