Colorado Rocky Mountain Wedding – Crested Butte

Colorado Rocky Mountain Weddings can be in so many different locations. There are the ski resort towns like Breckenridge or Vail. Or there amazing hot springs which combine adventure and relaxation. Of course, we also have several national parks like Rocky Mountain National Park. However, there are also the lesser known but crazy gorgeous towns like Crested Butte.

I’ve known Jackie for years, so of course, I was thrilled when she chose me to document her and Isaac’s wedding day! Not to mention that she had planned an amazing day full of views, delicious food and this amazing dress! I just can’t even with how chic and boho her wedding dress is. These two chose to start their day at a relative’s private residence that had the perfect setting for their vows and ceremony. I don’t know about you but I love the rugs going down the ceremony aisle and the pampas grass. We had a super scary guard dog keeping it safe til they arrived.

Just before the ceremony was the first look with a twist. Isaac’s groomsmen got all dolled up for him. He loved it. During the ceremony, Jackie and Isaac decided to do a sand ceremony. One had sand from Hawaii and the other from California. It was a touching moment to honor both of their pasts. After the ceremony, we went to a little secret spot in Crested Butte that I found to get the perfect view for them. You see, Isaac proposed by a river and so I thought it was only fitting to find a river with this epic view for their wedding day photos. We made sure to also snap a few pics in a custom white fringe jacket that Jackie had made for the day.
