Moreover, guests were greeted by warm interiors, festive music, and that unmistakable holiday glow that instantly sets the tone for celebration.
The Donald Ross Room – The Broadmoor Club House
From a photography standpoint, Christmas weddings at The Broadmoor are unmatched. The contrast of cozy interiors with dramatic outdoor mountain views creates stunning visual variety. Portraits near the fireplaces, grand staircases, and glowing trees felt intimate and cinematic, while snow-dusted outdoor moments added a touch of magic. In particular with The Donald Ross Room, guests are treated to fire pits and smores outside on the terrace. A little known secret, events at this location near Christmas time also enjoy the drone light show at nearby Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. What a treat!
One of the most special parts of the day was the ceremony at St. Pauline’s Chapel. Located just outside of the main Broadmoor property, the perfect choice for a winter wedding. The chapel was surrounded by lights and décor that felt straight out of a classic Christmas film. These moments are what make winter weddings so powerful: slower, more intentional, and deeply emotional.
