Engagement photos Colorado at Garden of the Gods
I know it seems like I’ve been doing a lot of engagement photos especially at Garden of the Gods here in Colorado Springs. It’s so hard not to when it’s a year-round gorgeous mountain location. The rocks are always red (and some white), Pikes Peak is always blue or purple and when you throw in an amazing sunset, Wow! In the midst of March, that is exactly what we got for Kate & Todd’s engagement session. Perfect weather, the mountains and structures of the park were as vibrant as ever! And then Kate & Todd are such an attractive and loving couple that it literally made the most stunning, stylish photographs. And that wasn’t all!
After that SPECTACULAR sunset at Garden of the Gods, how do you end your night? Well these two love birds got all dressed up for their Colorado engagement photos and LITERALLY looked like movie stars and we went to downtown Colorado Springs. Among the cute boutiques and starry night we got some intimate little interludes between this striking, all legs lady and super stud in a smart suit. And I would LOVE to take credit for the SWEET ass, hot red Chevy Camaro z28 that pulled up too as we crossed Tejon but that was just MAGIC, PURE MAGIC! Seriously, thank you to the guy who was out cruising the strip at that exact moment!

Lastly, we stopped by a place special to Kate & Todd….where they had their first date, The Rabbit Hole. It’s amazing I even knew this place but I have been there once before. It is actually an underground type club where there is a little subway type entrance to go down to the bar.
They had their first date there and that is when Todd told the cutest story. That he was so enamored and captivated with Kate he didn’t want to leave her side even though he wanted to offer Kate a ride home. In order for him to go get his car, he told the bartender to talk to Kate and not let anyone else talk to her. He was afraid someone would steal her away in that 5 minutes or that she might vanish like a lovely dream. I told him, well of course you did, you just left a winning lotto ticket at the bar. After our shoot, these two, looking like movie stars, went on an amazing date. The perfect end to such a spectacular night.
