Happy belated Mother’s Day! I hope all you mommas were spoiled by your kiddos and also had a chance to love on your own momma too! If you are like me, you are probably behind the camera most of the time. You have captured every minute of your child’s life but there is something missing. You aren’t in any of the photos! Mommas, it’s so important to get in the frame with your kiddos at the very least once a year. Your kids deserve memories with you in them. They change and grow so quickly and before you know it they are no longer babies and are trickier to photograph! Spring is the best in my opinion for these type of sessions because its cherry blossom season!
For this session, I met up with Marijo, a fellow photographer to exchange a few portraits with our kids. We found a great location in the Springs with cherry blossoms and she captured some beautiful photos of my son and I. This one is my favorite and really shows our bond and his sweet personality.

Then I got some of her and her girlies as well! Oh my goodness, shooting children with my own toddler running around is no easy task! But I just adore how these photos turned out and am so happy we took the time to get in front of the camera and document this time. These girls sure love their mommy and the soft neutral tones go perfectly with the white blossoms!
I also had the opportunity to meet up with Patty and her sweet girl Brooke! Remember Patty from my Blue Eyes Consulting post? She wanted portraits with her daughter as Mother’s Day gifts for themselves and their grandparents. We climbed around Daniel’s Park in skirts and heels with the craziest wind! But it was all worth it for these beautiful pictures. These ladies are gorgeous aren’t they? Add some pearls, tulle dresses, and the Front Range behind them and you get these stunning photos!
