What is your wedding dress doing? Have you taken it out of the box? Here is a great idea for a way to re-use that gorgeous wedding gown you spend so much money on but only got to wear one time. If you have a little girl, have some portraits taken of her in it and then save it for her wedding day. How adorable is this little girl in her momma’s wedding dress?
I photographed this family for years. First with Sean & Shanna’s (the parents) engagement and wedding. And since then have done the newborn photos of both their kids as well as a few family sessions. I adore watching this family grow from party of two to four and this girl becoming a lovely little lady! We had so much fun capturing her in her mom’s wedding dress. We of course had to get her brother Reid in some of the photos! He loves his big sissy so much and we had to capture how close they are. Aren’t these two darling?
Amaya is such a ham and a pleasure to photograph! She loved dressing up and getting her hair done for this session. She wore some special jewelry of mom’s and was even lucky enough (and trusted enough) to hold daddy’s cufflinks and both of their wedding rings 🙂 Mom and Grandma were there to watch her transformation of her daughter look so beautiful and grown up in her gown. I love the way her little fingers wrap around the bouquet and the bond between her and her little brother, when it seems just yesterday she was as big as the bouquet itself and there was no little brother in the picture. 🙂 lol
These portraits make for great family heirlooms and make for a great wedding keepsake. Here are some of my favorites.
