Erica looks fabulous at 32 weeks pregnant and we celebrated her baby bump with a Botanic Gardens maternity session. A perfect getaway from the hustle of the city, the Denver Botanic Gardens is a unique location for a portrait session. With lush gardens full of sunflowers and roses, a beautiful lily pad pond, reflection pool and gazebo, it has unlimited portrait opportunities. Just a warning though, you have to have a permit and it’s not free 🙂 But I don’t mind helping my clients and getting all the paperwork in order for such a location. I just adore all the pop of color from the flowers in the photos. And a few outfit changes added even more texture and interest to the gallery. And they were so sweet to each other and it really shows in the photos.
The Botanic Gardens was the perfect location for Erica and her husband Sam. It offered a tranquil and serene atmosphere to their session and of course lots of beautiful backdrops. And just a few months from these photos, life is so much different for these two with a newborn! I am happy they were able to share a few quiet moments enjoying their pregnancy, waiting patiently for their sweet baby boy to arrive.
I am so looking forward to meeting him and taking his newborn portraits.
