Donielle and David wanted to have some fun and do something a bit different for their maternity photos. We decided to celebrate their baby bump with a Batman maternity session! We also added a few other props like the letter blocks and baby shoes to make this session unique to them. They are having a boy and are planning to name him Renzo!
Renzo already has two furry brothers and we included them in a few photos. The white furbaby is actually deaf abut his buddy is always there to lead him to where he needs to go. It was quite interesting to get their attention because usually I bark like a dog to get their attention but a few other of my tricks still worked! I have had lots of dogs in front of my lens this Fall and I think it’s special to include them in your family’s memories. It’s not always easy to get animals to cooperate during a shoot, but as a pro, I have a few tricks up my sleeves to get them to look at the camera.
In just a few months, I’ll be meeting Renzo for his newborn session in my studio. I am already thinking about some fun ways to continue the Batman theme for his baby portraits. For now, I hope you enjoy these sweet moments as these two patiently wait for their guy to make his appearance.
A Batman Maternity
For their session we went to Jackass Hill (yes lol, a little fun story about the park HERE) in Littleton Colorado. We had amazing skies and weather and the park provided stellar mountain views. I just love the silhouette portrait! How adorable does Donielle look with her baby bump? Congratulations to these two!
