When I am not shooting weddings for my clients, I often am shooting weddings as a second photographer, pretty much just for fun. It’s extremely freeing creatively to be able to photograph a couple’s wedding day and be able to capture more of those fleeting moments and intimate looks. Having two photographers documenting your wedding is a great idea especially if you are having a big wedding with lots of of activities. With two photographers, you can have many different angles and focal lengths. It’s a great way to capture more candids of your guests and your family. I strongly suggest having a second for a logistically complicated wedding like at a ski resort or if you have a large wedding of over 250 people. Best of all, you get two creatives capturing your day which adds two unique styles to your wedding album. I was so happy to be part of this Broadmoor wedding and have the opportunity to photograph along with another friend and photographer Jamie Smith Photography.
