Need a fun idea for a mom and son date night? A mini session with dinner (or ice cream) after is a great way to get one on one time with your kiddo and capture some memories. This Christmas mini session took place right in my back yard! We have beautiful pine trees and as luck would have it snow started falling for some white Christmas photos so it was a perfect winter setting for their session. I strung up some Christmas lights before they arrived and I love the warm holiday look it all added to their portraits.

This momma is a repeat client and her sweet boy Braylon is such a handsome and loving little man! Of course we also incorporated their pup Junior in some of the portraits. Pets are such a big part of a family and it is important to bring them for a few pictures to remember these family moments. After their session the two enjoyed the rest of their evening with an Italian feast at The Villa in Palmer Lake. What a great way to honor your kiddo and show them how much they mean to you!
