It is funny how one day I have a one year old who isn’t so thrilled about her birthday cake. Then the next day a little lady who smashes her face right into it! Each baby is so different and I love seeing their personalities shine in their photo sessions. Brielle is a little free spirit and enjoyed every minute of her cake smash photo shoot! She gave me a million expressions as she got the cake all over my studio, but the photos made it all worth it. We gave her a little bath afterwards ;).

Brielle’s momma is also a photographer and since she has such an adorable little girl, you have to have a mini session to celebrate their milestone. As you can see the cake did not go to waste! She was a perfect little princess and looked adorable in the pink tutu dress. I had planned on giving my little guy a few bites of cake afterwards (usually the cakes are practically pristine) but this one, well, was unrecognizable. But it was a pleasant surprise to see such enthusiasm in a cake smash 🙂
She is also a little sweetie and came trying to share the cake and flowers with me as she ate. Apparently she didn’t want to party all by herself! 😉
