With highs in the 60s recently, I cannot believe it is winter in Colorado! Of course I am taking full advantage of it and stepping out of my studio for my sessions. Ashlie and Scott are just a few weeks away from meeting their first little one and we headed to Blodgett Peak Open Space for their maternity session! Their photo session was a little more casual as some of my mommy’s choose grand, flowy maternity dresses. Of course this was more natural as it’s just the two of them, until it’s the 3 of them 🙂
They are keeping baby’s gender a surprise (even for themselves) but have picked out a boy and a girl name, both starting with the letter L. How fun is that? I chose to find out the gender when I was pregnant with my boys, but I love it when couples choose to wait as the anticipation and guessing keeps it fun and exciting for everyone. If I had to guess, I would say it’s a boy ;)!
Ashlie and Scott’s Maternity Portraits
Located in Colorado Springs, Blodgett Peak Open Space offers amazing mountain views all year round without having to travel far. The amazing weather paired with Colorado’s beauty and even more gorgeous couple made for stunning portraits. I am so excited for these two as I know they will make amazing parents. I cannot wait to meet “Baby L!”
