Wedding Season is just around the corner! I couldn’t think of a better way to gear up for my favorite season, than with an intimate styled wedding shoot. Myself and another photographer friend decided to have this styled shoot at Rampant Reservoir in Woodland Park. We wanted a location that had a woodsy vibe but still have epic views of the snow-capped Pikes Peak. This spot was perfect!
Styled Wedding in Woodland Park
Abigail and her husband were such wonderful models for us and we had so much fun on this shoot. (There are plenty of hilarious outtakes to prove it.) Doing a bridal portrait session before the wedding or a day after session for couples portraits is a great idea, especially if you think your wedding day may be too packed or stressful. These sessions are a relaxed way to get those awesome portraits that you’ll cherish forever.
Bridal sessions are a great way to do a trial run with your hair and make up and to test out your dress before making those final alterations. Day after sessions are a super fun way to ride that newlywed high with an intimate portrait session in an epic location. They’re a great way to get photos with a different backdrop than your wedding location. With day after sessions, you won’t have to stress about having enough time in between the ceremony and dinner. Plus, you won’t be interrupted by all your relatives coming up to congratulate you and take their own cell phone pictures for facebook. 🙂
Another reason I wanted to do this session, was because I just got this new dress for my clients. Isn’t it just stunning!? This dress is available for you to wear at your next session with me! It would be perfect for engagement, family, or even maternity sessions. My studio has lots of outfit options for my clients to wear in their photos. I love to have this option for clients because it can take away a lot of the stress of preparing for a session.
