Styled sessions can be a great way to get the creative juices flowing when wedding season starts up again. For this stylized wedding photoshoot, we played up the clean, cool grays of the space, The Hangar at Stanley. When we started planning this shoot, we wanted to incorporate this year’s Pantone color “Greenery.” We used this color as well as copper and marble accents to create the tablescapes. Sleek black chairs, lanterns, plates, and flatware frame the table for an industrial chic feel.
Our lovely couple is styles in a modern, boho look. Madison wore a lovely enzoani ivory beaded and embroidered lace lulu dress. The Glam Team did her hair in a stunning braided foux hawk. Lakota wore an allure grey tuxedo, with a very sexy stubble and man bun. Kelley Kakes made a custom cake that used different textures and incorporated the florals, while staying in the clean, bright color scheme.
The Hangar at Stanley – Styled Wedding
The Hangar at Stanley is a brand new wedding venue that sits in the heart of Denver. It is just on the edge of Stapleton in the Stanley Marketplace, food-centric, community-minded marketplace. It is the space for couples who are looking for a central location and a clean, modern venue. Since this venue has 18,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, it’s one of the largest indoor/outdoor venues in the Aurora and Denver metro area. That makes it perfect for hosting large weddings in Colorado.
The space is a former airplane hangar and is recognized as a Local Historic Landmark. It’s high ceilings and massive, red hangar doors were built in 1954, and open onto what used to be a jetway. The venue features many restored elements to add character to any event, like the steel beams, polished concrete floors, and 30-inch light fixtures. There is also, a beautiful patio with movable flourishing greenery and the original Stanley Aviation weigh station. The Hangar at Stanley is a great place to have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
