I’m so grateful that this couple has trusted me to photograph them through all their biggest life events! The first session I did with Jen and Geoff, was their engagement session. Jen is a vet and together, they own lots of their own animals. They brought along their two horses and four dogs, for their engagement photos! That’s a lot of furry models to wrangle! We got some beautiful photos of them at that session, as well as at their wedding. Their Pine Colorado maternity session was a little bit calmer and even more beautiful.
Jen and Geoff named their baby Julia and even got her a little pink blankie with her name embroidered into it. Julia is a highly coveted name in Jen’s family. Everyone wanted to name their first girl Julia but Jen called dibs on it, when they found out they were having a girl. I’m sure everyone’s jealousy will fade when they meet their newest family member and fall in love!
Pine Colorado Maternity Session
Jen and Geoff chose this gorgeous location in Pine, Colorado for their session. We got a few mountain view shots. Then, we hiked a little into the woods and found plenty of beautiful aspen trees with green, spring buds. I love spring maternity sessions. It’s all about new life and new beginnings!
Jen and Geoff brought along the blanket they had made for Julia, as well as her first stuffed animal, a little rabbit. We got some really cute portraits of baby Julia with her rabbit, at her newborn session in my studio. She is just beautiful. Keep an eye out for her newborn session on the blog, later this week!
I cannot wait to see this loving family grow. I’m really looking forward to more sessions with Jen, Geoff, and Julia. Maybe I’ll even get to do some more maternity sessions with these two!
