Noel and Tyler are both very active and love outdoor sports and activities. This has been a huge part of their relationship and I love how they incorporated it into their Mountian View Ranch wedding as well. From their gorgeous location to the gifts and details, their love for adventure was with them the whole day. These two have a really fun story that shows just how much they love the outdoors. They met when they both went to a volleyball day in Washington Park, in Denver. Mutual friends introduced them between games and they hit it off right away.
When Tyler was ready to propose to Noel, he planned an awesome adventure for the two of them. It was winter so he took Noel up Buffalo Mountain in the beautiful snow. Noel snowshoed up and Tyler skinned up. Clearly, I am not as adventurous as these two. I had to look up what skinning meant! Turns out, it’s a way to ski up a mountain using a special ski attachment. Then, once you reach the top, you take them off and ski down. Since Noel was snowshoeing up, she had to bring all of her ski gear so they could ski down together. Tyler was such a gentleman, he carried all her gear the whole way up. He proposed at the top of Buffalo Mountain and they had their first back country ski adventure on the way down! Oh, did I mention that for their honeymoon, they are going to a yoga surf camp in Bali!!
Mountain View Ranch Wedding – Noel + Tyler
Noel and Tyler planned a classic Colorado wedding with a few personal touches. Since most of their guests would be coming in from out of state, they wanted to make sure everyone felt like they were on a relaxing vacation. That’s why they chose Mountian View Ranch as their venue. It’s nestled away in the mountains, but not too far from Denver, and the views are absolutely stunning.
Since Tyler is from Texas, they wanted their day to have a rustic feel. All the bridesmaids wore cowboy boots to bring some of the Texas country vibes to the Rocky Mountains. My favorite part of the day was seeing Tyler’s face when Noel walked down the aisle. They didn’t have a first look so this was the first time he saw her in her dress. He got so emotional when he saw her and I think every breath of air left his body and his heart skipped a beat. Tears are always a great start to a wedding, in my book. I also loved the warrior pose from the bridesmaids and bridal party that we did. These guys are warriors 🙂 Oh and my ABSOLUTE favorite part was that these two have a thing – Noel will run full speed at Tyler and he HAS to catch her and she will yell TRUST FALL lol….although he’s always caught her leaping mid air. We had to have a photo of that.
All the emotions of this wedding day you can feel in every photo and I hope it brings them right back when they see them every day on the walls of their home.
