The Pinery at the Hill Wedding

I love this venue so much! When a fellow photographer was searching for a second to photograph a The Pinery at the Hill wedding, I jumped at the chance! I’m so glad I did because it turned out to be such an incredible day. This couple was a joy to work with and I am so honored to have been included in their amazing wedding. It is always extra special to be a part of a military wedding and this couple had just graduated from the Air Force Academy!

The Pinery is the perfect venue for Air Force coupes because it’s just down the road from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Cadets can get married right after graduation (around Memorial Day), which is the kick off the wedding season! It’s also really easy to get here from the Air Force Academy chapel (although that will be under construction soon, so double check your wedding date couples!) and it’s right off the highway which makes it super easy for guests to get to. No aunts showing up late to the ceremony because they got lost in the mountains! Speaking of the mountains, The Pinery has great mountain views as well as views of the city lights at night!

The Pinery at the Hill Wedding

I love this venue because it’s so classicly beautiful but it also makes my couple’s lives so much easier! There aren’t many venues that are all-inclusive anymore but this one has it all! They provide catering, florals, a DJ, and so much more, all included in the venue packages. They do allow you to choose some of the vendors if you want, so you can have your grandma make you a special cake or make sure your favorite photographer captures the day! Hint, hint! This way, you have so much less planning to do and less decision to make. I know it can all get so exhausting so it’s great to see venues that make it easy.

Some other great features of this venue is that they have both indoor and outdoor ceremony options. They only host one wedding at a time though so an outdoor ceremony can be moved indoors if the weather is bad. You can also host your rehearsal dinner there. And the getting ready areas are beautiful and spacious. Overall, this is a great place to have a Colorado Springs wedding, especially for newly graduated Air Force cadets!
