Breckenridge Weddings – 2 seasons of change

As a Colorado wedding photographer, I get to photograph some spectacular views. Sometimes I get to go back several times in a year. This year I got to experience Breckenridge weddings for Allie + Greg’s summer one as well as Josh + Cynthia’s fall celebration. Well, both of them were absolutely breathtaking in completely different ways. Let’s take a look at both of these Breckenridge mountain weddings.

A summer wedding in Breckenridge Colorado

Allie + Greg had their wedding day at Main Street Station in the heart of Breckenridge. From their venue, you can actually see the ski slopes on the mountain in the background. They chose a beautiful floral arch for their ceremony to frame and highlight the mountain view. The one thing that made the day a bit more exciting was the weather. Right after the ceremony, a rain storm started rolling in. Luckily, we made it up to the Pass to get these breathtaking images of the landscape with minimal drizzle. This afternoon rain is a bit of a hazard with any summer wedding in Colorado.

Fall in love with Breckenridge Colorado Wedding

Josh + Cynthia’s wedding was at peak timing for fall color change in September in Breckenridge. Breckenridge weddings typically should plan on mid to late September for color change. There was no shortage of beautiful foliage for their day. Although, be aware that it’s not uncommon for the Rocky Mountains to get some wicked weather and wipe all the leaves out of the trees. As you can see, we went up to the same pass and same view but the trees were on fire with color. Truly, it is a view for all seasons.
