Al Kaly Mule Barn Wedding

For years as I drove up and down the front range of Colorado, I have seen this big red barn. You can’t miss it as you drive down to Pueblo from Colorado Springs of if you are on the south end of town near the Broadmoor. Did you know that you can have that barn as a backdrop for your event or wedding? A style all it’s own and a surprisingly decent view of Pikes Peak. Emily & Owen had an Al Kaly Mule Barn wedding for their love story and I can’t wait to show you their rustic, summer wedding day.

Although this wedding day started at a nearby Hampton Inn Hotel, the rest of the day took place at various parts of the Al Kaly Mule Train Barn venue. The 1st moment was the first look with Emily and her father on the side of the red barn. The emotion of your little girl getting married is even more beautiful than the view around them. Then was the first look between Emily and Owen. After they were both overcome by the emotions of the day, they read private vows to each other.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The ceremony took place in the upstairs loft of the barn building. It’s much larger than I expected or than it looks from the outside. With a natural wood finish and a lovely mountain altar piece for the ceremony, it was the perfect addition. The flower bros made it even more special with their extra flair and decor touches. The reception and dancing was upstairs as well, after it was flipped during the cocktail hour for dining. There was plenty of room for all the dance moves that were brought to this party. Clearly, as you can see, a good time was had by all.

At the end of the day, during sunset, Emily and Owen made their way out to the pasture for some colorful and romantic skies. Although you can see the barn from the interstate, once you go out into the pasture, it feels like it is just you, the mountains, the picturesque field and barn.
