Green Mountain Falls Proposal

Nestled in the heart of Green Mountain Falls, is a gazebo overlooking a pond. The scene has always felt like something out of a storybook—and for this couple, it became the perfect place for their Green Mountain Falls proposal. As high school sweethearts, their love has grown through seasons of life. Naturally, their memories are heavily layered with time, laughter, and deep familiarity. So when it came time for him to propose, there was no question where it had to happen. She had always loved this gazebo. After today, she would have a reason to always love this gazebo and what it means.

Graduating from Girlfriend to Fiancee

When they arrived, she had no idea what was about to unfold. With a blindfold gently tied, she trusted him completely as he guided her forward. Each step built anticipation, the sounds of the pond and rustling leaves filling the air. Now, what she didn’t know was that a close friend was already there, carefully setting the scene. He had planned balloons floating softly, flower petals scattered across the walkway, and ribbons to the columns. It was intimate, thoughtful, and filled with meaning.

As the blindfold came off, her reaction said everything. Surprise turned to emotion as she took in the gazebo transformed into a space that felt both magical and deeply personal. He dropped to one knee, sharing words shaped by years of history and love. Finally he asked the question that he knew he had been waiting since their teenage years to ask. Overwhelmed and joyful, she said yes, the moment sealed by laughter, happy tears, and the quiet beauty of Green Mountain Falls.

After the proposal, the celebration continued with a champagne spray. Pure joy bursting into the air—followed by a toast shared beside the pond. It was the perfect balance of romance and fun, honoring not just the proposal but the journey that brought them there. From high school hallways to a mountain gazebo surrounded by water and love, this proposal was a reminder that some stories really do come full circle.

I've been a Colorado wedding and portrait photographer since 2006 in the days of photography yore. Every client is family to me and I love to grow and document each and everyone's most emotional moments and bundles of joy whether they be human or furbaby. It's very much the happiest days of a person's life and I feel purpose while documenting those moments.
