Weddings at Garden of the Gods Resort
One Venue – Two Unique Celebrations
Garden of the God’s Resort has become a favorite destination for couples seeking a beautiful, intimate setting for their wedding day. Destination micro wedding or intimate elopement? Tthe stunning scenery of Colorado Springs provides a breathtaking backdrop. Brittany & Dylan and Katura & Brian are two couples who recently chose this spectacular venue for their weddings. Likewise, their stories are as unique as the views that surrounded them.
Brittany & Dylan’s Destination Micro wedding
First, Brittany and Dylan’s wedding was a perfect example of how Garden of the Gods Resort can be the ideal location for a destination micro wedding. The couple traveled all the way from Ohio to tie the knot in Colorado’s picturesque landscape. After all, having met in high school, the two have seen much of their young lives in Ohio. When it came time to choose a wedding location, Brittany and Dylan knew they wanted something different.
Naturally, October was the perfect time for their wedding. Along with the resort the fall colors in Colorado provided a gorgeous backdrop of reds, oranges, and golds. Especially in the fall, the colors complement the Garden of the Gods Park’s red sandstone. For these two, the beauty of the Colorado mountains made their wedding day unforgettable. Naturally, the intimate ceremony, surrounded by family and the views that they dreamed of, was everything they had hoped for—and more.
Katura & Brian’s Star Wars and Geology-Inspired Micro wedding
For Katura and Brian, two thermal geologists from Texas, their wedding at Garden of the Gods Resort was as unique as their love story. Initially, the couple had planned to exchange vows at Garden of the Gods Park. Of course, the iconic red sandstone formations caught their eye. However, after visiting the resort, they fell in love with the venue and decided to book it for their small micro wedding instead.
Their wedding date, May 4th, also happened to be Star Wars Day. Naturally, they incorporated plenty of Star Wars references into their ceremony. This included some creative puns in their vows. Both Katura and Brian are passionate about geology, so they cleverly worked in a few geology puns, too. Their vows had guests smiling and laughing as they connected on their shared love of science and adventure.
Before their intimate ceremony at the resort, Katura and Brian made their way to Garden of the Gods Park for a few photos. Unfortunately for us, there was a last minute, unposted 5K run that morning. However, we were able to find our way in, with a bit of exercise. The day was filled with personalized touches that made it truly special and reflective of the couple’s personalities.
Weddings at Garden of the Gods Resort: Intimate, Scenic, and Truly One-of-a-Kind
Both Brittany and Dylan, and Katura and Brian, found that Garden of the Gods Resort offered exactly what they needed. Truly it is a beautiful and intimate setting for their micro weddings. Whether it’s the breathtaking mountain views or the opportunity to tie the knot surrounded by the stunning landscape, the resort is intimate, scenic, and unforgettable.
For those planning their own wedding, Garden of the Gods Resort offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and personal touches. Always ensuring that each couple’s wedding day is as unique as their love story.
