Roxborough Park engagement photos – Kim and Andy are engaged!
These two are always on the go, be it hiking, fishing, going to a Rockies game or even snowshoeing! So of course for their engagements it had to be an outdoor and grand location so the grand background of red rocks and green meadows was a perfect location. These are some of my favorites from their Roxborough Park engagement photos. They will be getting married this September at Sylvan Dale Ranch.
These two met when Andy and Kimberly volunteered to help the newly hired Police Officers with their DUI training. Kimberly was to be a “drunk driver” and Andy was there to monitor the “drunk drivers”. They hit it off chatting and playing up their roles. Kimberly and Andy met that day but thanks to mutual friends, they both learned the other was single and available. They met up a few weeks later for dinner and the rest is history!
As for the proposal, Andy planned something perfect and special for Kimberly. They love country music and they attended a Dierks Bentley concert of Dierks Bentley at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The amphitheater is known for its views of Denver at nighttime as well as its natural beauty. Honestly it’s one of the few unique places you can ever visit for a concert. During the song “Come a little closer,” Andy got down on one knee and asked Kimberly to marry him. Kimberly couldn’t help but say “yes!”
The Roxborough Park engagement photo session was perfect, minus a brief run in with a forest service officer. 🙂 The little spring buds, the red rocks and the lush new green grass and foliage is a great combination for this landscape. And when you are looking through the photos, see if you can find a photobomber in the engagement photos.
Beautiful pics! Can’t wait for the big day 🙂
