Piney River Ranch wedding – Jenni and Mike

The only words to I have to describe this wedding day is fun. Fun location, fun vendors, fun couple. From start to finish this day was a party, celebrating this amazing couple and the day everyone had been waiting for. A Piney River Ranch wedding is always sure to impress everyone and provide an amazing time. And Jenni and Mike’s wedding was no different.

I love this location because it’s like knowing a secret. The road up is only open a few months a year due to weather and thick woods surrounding it. It can be an intimidating drive. When you get to the top and the trees open up, you’ve been let in on the secret. Beautiful Colorado Mountains with a lake in its valley. This is a dream Colorado wedding location!

The wedding party would include their 18-month-old daughter and their dog Dude. It was adorable! The ceremony was held on the lake deck surrounded by friends and family with that amazing mountain backdrop. It was everything they have been they had every wanted. Finally becoming husband and Wife.

After the ceremony Jenni and Mike jumped in kayak and I jumped in my waders for some amazing lake shots. Like I said, nothing but fun! This was when I really got to capture how much theses two really love each other. The moments when they think nobody is looking. The way they hold each other, look at each other. Real happiness.

When the dancing was done, cake was eaten and everything started to slow down, guests huddled by the fire pit. Talking and listening to music. Perfect end to our fun day!
