Love, Love, Love
“It had to be fate” she told me, “there is no other explanation. How else do you explain how two wandering gypsy souls found each other on a planet of 7 billion people.”
Kimmy and Jake met online where Jake’s profile photo of him scuba diving caught her interest and the rest is history! They are funny and low key and are a blast to be around. Their adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors made Piney River Ranch the perfect venue for their wedding. Their theme was “All you need is love” and for all guest to enjoy themselves was top priority! So much so that “all you need is love” and “love is all you need” is engraved in the inside of each of their wedding bands. Those bands were tied to tails of these two amazing and adorable stuffed elephants which were made by one of the groomsmen (jr). So talented! And passed to all the guests to bless the rings of the couple.
Love is all you need
The sunflower bouquet and touches of blue and yellow in the accessories really popped against the mountain backdrop. Kimmy looked gorgeous in her vintage style lace gown made by Love Marley. I loved all the detail that was in this dress with the lace applique’ and beading and how perfectly it flattered Kimmy! Her sweet girl, Penney wore the cutest little yellow dress and had a flower crown that matched her momma. They looked so adorable together. Kimmy wore a sunflower in her hair and held a bouquet of sunflowers made by Petals and Pours which was beautifully designed and provided gorgeous texture and color.
Kimmy and Jake are music lovers and and after all the formalities of a wedding, everyone moved to the dance floor to boogie with the couple. Hence, the entrance of the flower girl and ring bearer to tambourine jingling. After their first dance, they danced together with their daughter to the Beatles song Penney Lane! These lovely guests know how to get down – I had a blast capturing all the moments during this part of the wedding.
The Photo Gallery
There were so many beautiful areas of the Ranch to photograph – we managed the river, the lake in a canoe and the field with one of the ranch’s horses. I seriously can’t even in words describe the beauty. Thankfully I’m a wedding photographer who can describe in photographs 😉 So many lovely aspects of this wedding, but I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. Congrats to Jake and Kimmy!
