The big #1 is so special! Your baby has accomplished so much in such a short time and it’s important to capture this milestone. This little guy stole my heart from the minute he walked into my studio. I didn’t get to photograph his newborn or 6 month old portraits. Unfortunately, mom didn’t know me then but realized she wanted a photographer for Matthew’s first birthday.
We did a few sets since his birthday is in the Fall with cute hay bales and outfits. My studio has limitless prop options and he was a cheery guy so I got creative and provided many different set ups. For his cake smash, mom wanted a John Deer theme.
The cake smash is a perfect way to celebrate your kiddo’s big #1! It’s tons of fun for them to get messy and enjoy some extra sugar while providing delightful memories. I can supply the cake or you may choose to bring your own. Sometimes clients prefer to bring the cake due to allergies or diet requirements. Mom brought this cute John Deer cake and Matthew was absolutely loving it. He kept signing “more” even though he had the whole cake in front of him still and we weren’t taking it away. It was so messy and adorable! He enjoyed every minute and the pictures are worth the clean up time.
Celebrating Matthew’s First Birthday!
I am so happy to have met this sweet boy and his momma! I am looking forward to capturing more memories for them in the future.
