A Deer Creek Valley Ranch Wedding is a perfect location for a Colorado Fall wedding. The location is fairly close to the Denver and Golden area, you can avoid the mess of I-70 which can unexpectedly become a parking lot and you can get lovely color change with a mountain backdrop for your fall wedding. Of course the view boasts these views year round but fall is especially lovely given the autumn colors. Erin & Patrick’s wedding had perfect weather and even for an October wedding, was early enough, even at higher elevation, for golden aspen trees and grass. During the ceremony which took place out by Deer Creek’s covered bridge, it started to rain – EEEk! But luckily for them it didn’t last too long or rain too hard and they were prepared (for the bride and groom anyway) for a few sprinkles. As sweet as this couple is, they didn’t melt 🙂

The table decor and details were also a lovely compliment for a fall wedding with chocolate browns and gold leaves to serve as name place markers. Wood disks and rustic pieces also help tie the venues aesthetic to the fall warmth. I love the variations I see from my brides for colors to compliment the fall wedding and this white, pink, brown and gold is a lovely combination. Of course, even if your wedding day isn’t in fall, there is still plenty of photographic mountain scenery. Tall, beautiful evergreens, pastures of horses and acres of fields against Colorado mountains are the perfect backdrop.
