Sean and Juliet had the sweetest fall engagement session in Morrison, CO. The weather was quite cold and foggy so the cuddling photos aren’t staged at all, it was really that cold 🙂 And there was no complaining about the cuddling though. They are just so cute! Juliet and Sean coordinated their outfits so well too. They looked so great against the yellow leaves and the blue of the mountains. We had a lot of fun with the posing at this session. I had them play around a lot and just snuggle up to each other, which they loved!
Sean + Juliet’s Fall Engagement
We did Juliet and Sean’s engagement session at Meyer’s Ranch Park, an awesome spot for fall colors and mountain views. I love that we were able to get the aspen trees, in all their golden glory, and the Front Range, all in one shot! Meyer’s Ranch Park is around the same elevation as Denver. This means that the leaves change later there than they do in the mountains. In fact, by the time they change here, the mountains are usually all bare and maybe even snow capped! So if you’re worried that you missed the peak leaves because they’re all gone in Aspen, there’s no need to fret! There are plenty of options for gorgeous fall color around Colorado.
Toward the end of the session, it started to get dark so I switched things up a bit. I took out my lights and did some fun off camera flash portraits with Sean and Juliet. I just love the way it lights them up and makes them glow. It’s so fun to have some more control over the light and get creative with it. I love being able to offer this kind of lighting to my clients at on location sessions!
