Crossfit Couple Mountain Wedding

My associate photographer, Jamie photographed this Rocky Mountain wedding, in Breckenridge. This crossfit couple loves going on adventures around the country, so they decided to have a destination wedding in the mountains of Colorado. When Kristen, moved from Florida to Dallas, TX, she decided to join a crossfit gym and found Crossfit Katy Trail. Joe is the owner and a coach at the gym and the two hit it off. They travel around the country together to go hiking and other outdoor activities. On one trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, they hiked up Camelback Mountain. When they got to the top, Joe asked a couple to take a photo of them. While they were taking their pictures, Joe got down on one knee and proposed. Kristen said the couple taking the photo was just as surprised as she was!

Jamie is is spectacular at photographing wedding details and I just love all the amazing photos she got. Kristen and Joe put a lot of thought into their wedding details and I’m so glad Jamie was there to capture them beautifully. She also made sure to take them to the top of the mountain for their newlywed portraits. They wanted to get mountaintop photos of the two of them together just like the photos from their proposal! This spot has some of the most spectacular views and I am just in love with the photos Jamie got of this awesome couple.

They chose to have their wedding at Beaver Run Resort because they spent so much time skiing there in the winters. They said they have so many memories on that mountain, that it just had to be the place. These two are such awesome adventurers. Guess where they’re honeymooning. They’ll be going to the Maldives after the wedding for a little get away. Color me jealous!
